Metallic pickleball fashion by Pickleball ARTwear, a subtle sparkle that is beyond bling.
My first metallic pieces have arrived and I'm in love with them. (SEE HERE if you don't want to read on!) They are sparkly but it's subtle and not "blingy" like someone's niece bedazzled a sweatshirt in the 80's, no the glitter in this performance fabric shines so pretty it dazzles. Some of the patterns (like the pickleball camo in silver or dragonfly in teal hombre) are very subtle while others will be very bold. YOU get to choose your favorites and I am so excited and here for it. For those of you who are new to me, hi! I am a pickleball artist which means my focus these days (I used to paint pets and guitars) is art that is uniquely pickleball and generally, I use tiny paddle images to create even larger images, so pickleball is hidden inside every image even if it's just a jeep or a mermaid. (If you are saying: sorry what? see my art book which is also a children's abc book on Amazon to learn more about that) So my Esty shop is new and I've decided that what I make available in my Etsy, are all inherently limited editions. Meaning: I am an artist and constantly creating and I don't have the bandwidth nor time to keep hundreds of items listed, I am far more interested in making new ones than just riding on a few designs, so I will let the old listings expire (a listing lasts 3 months) to make way for the new ones I keep creating . I myself chose a size up because I was worried the metallics fitting tightly would look a certain way and I am glad I did because they fit comfortably and I'm not busting out of them. They are metallics so they don't breathe like a full cotton would, but they are called glitter performance wear and I do feel very comfortable playing in them, they do feel like skating or dancing costume material and it's sturdy so doesn't show every little measure!~ Bottom line I've worn both the metallic tanks and the metallic yoga shorts on hot days, playing hard, and I was comfortable and will choose them again and again ( and not only because the compliments I got were really fun). I will try a size down for comparison next, and will share with you when they arrive, but for the time being I'm showing you how they look when ordered sized up. Also shown in this pic, you will find my classic super soft jersey tanks in my store (both fitted and loose options). These are NOT metallic, the only metallic tanks on my Etsy are crop tops, but I find the teal camouflage matte tank and the teal metallic dragonfly yoga short go nicely together (as seen below), and too much metallics (ie: wearing them together) might be a little much (unless you have a sheer solid to wear over top). So try some matte tanks or just find a plain tank or Tshirt from your closet. My favorites are Civile - Centerline, Halara and LuluLemon, all have super solids and basics I usually like to pair with my Pickleball ARTwear.
