It's the DINK awards 2024 (sponsored by Nike), time to get your VOTE on!!

Nike was named Title Sponsor of The Dink Awards 2024 ! That's the news over there at the Dink pickleball (not affiliated to me) a massive newsletter and pickleball world where once a year all things pickleball are put to a vote and guess what?.... voting has begun! I was led there because Lee Whitwell (click link for her Instagram) was tagged as being nominated in her category Senior Pro and as a card carrying member Lee Whitwell's fan club it was my duty to go vote. I noticed once there, that I know who all the players up for nomination are in all the categories (except for international, but I did know the guy I voted for) which made it fun if not difficult to make a selection. There are SO many great players for so many reasons. It is hard to choose a favorite sometimes, even when it's just one team against the other. I didn't know all of the podcasts or influencers, so I took a screenshot while voting, with a plan to follow some great new pickleball content this year. I suggest you do the same.

I absolutely spit out my coffee when I read the nominations in the category Best Beef!! (the best unique rivalry on the pickleball court) If you watch pickleball on the regular these are spot on funny. Whomever thought these up did so with the perfect twist of humor. Thank you for that. So anyhow I just wanted to share it with you so that you can have a say too, go make some votes and enjoy the fun!
